LULLINGTON GARDENS WEEKEND
SATURDAY 25th & SUNDAY 26th JUNE 2016
1:00pm - 6:00pm
There’s something for everybody in Lovely Lullington, Derbyshire on the 25th and 26th of June from 1pm to 6pm each day.

This years theme is Her Majesty, The Queen's 90 Birthday.

First of all there are the gardens which are being thrown open by their owners for your delight. There will be 12 or so for you to see and there will also be plants and garden related stalls on the village green. Afternoon teas with homemade cakes will also be available.

Then there is the fabulous collection of classic cars and trucks that will be arriving from all over the country. Wander around the forecourt of the local Forge Garage or the exhibition field at your heart’s content. Talk to the owners who lovingly preserve motoring’s heritage.

And, for the second year, the 16th Century Collie Arms will be holding its regular mini beer festival on the same weekend with a selection real ales to taste plus bottled beers, ciders etc and food stalls in the Garden and live music.. The festival starts on the Friday and will be open from 12mid-day to midnight on the Saturday and 12 mid-day until 7pm on the Sunday.

In our beautiful church you will see an exhibition of rural bygones and war memorabilia which will no doubt take some of you back in time but also be of interest to the lucky generations who missed the unpleasantness of those conflicts.

The Village Hall, once our school, is close by the church. Give it a glance as you pass by. The door is in one of the photographs.
So we hope that you will come and join us.
